Welcome to Starfish Therapy SWFL!
Building confidence, resilience, and emotional strength — in the water and beyond.
Hi, I’m Maty Tuttle, MSW, RCSWI — passionate social worker and swim instructor, committed to providing integrated emotional and aquatic support to the SWFL community. At Starfish Therapy SWFL, we blend swim instruction, emotional support, and aquatic-based therapeutic services to help children gain confidence, regulate emotions, and build resilience — all in a safe, supportive environment.
Our Services:
-
Empowerment-Based Swim Lessons: Build swim skills, safety, and confidence.
-
Counseling & Emotional Support: Trauma-informed, strengths-based therapy for all ages (see Therapy tab for where Maty is currently providing therapy services)
-
Aquatic-Based Therapeutic Intervention (ABTI): Water-focused sessions that combine swim instruction with emotional regulation strategies, coping skills, and play-based activities.
Safe. Supportive. Personalized.
Whether your child is learning to swim, managing big feelings, or growing through supportive experiences in the water, we create intentional spaces that nurture confidence and overall growth — in the pool and through life's waves.
The Heart Behind the Work
Empowering Growth: One Step at a Time
My work is inspired by the Starfish Story — the idea that even helping one person, one moment at a time, can make a meaningful difference. Whether I’m supporting a child learning emotional regulation or guiding an adult through grief and identity work, I believe in the power of small, consistent steps toward healing.
